The purpose of the EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Policy is to set out an approach to equality, diversity and inclusion. This policy is a commitment to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and promote a culture that actively values difference. It demonstrates an organisation recognises that people from different backgrounds and experiences can bring valuable insights to the workplace.
If you would like to maintain a work environment where you can be fair in a consistent way to all of your employees, then it will be beneficial to implement an EDI Policy within your organisation. This policy complies with the Equality Act 2010 by promoting a culture of equality and diversity within the organisation.
This policy defines the terms of equality, diversity and inclusion and declares the responsibilities of the organisation within each of these three areas.
In addition to the EDI Policy, you might find other documents such as the Employee Wellbeing Policy and Anti Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy of interest as well. We have a significant number of documents that can be used to improve your management system.
This policy can be purchased individually or as part of a package. If you are implementing a management system based on one or more of the main ISO standards, then our management system packages might be more cost effective.
Our standard management system packages cover a combination of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001. However, additional standards can easily be included if needed.
