The purpose of this procedure is to help foresee the risks and challenges that could derail the completion of a project. It applies proven methodologies to plan, organise and control activities, to ensure the project is completed as successfully as possible in spite of all the risks.
The project management procedure follows a process-based approach for project management, providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. The methodology breaks projects into stages and each stage is managed separately. Each process is defined with its key inputs and outputs together with the specific objectives to be achieved and activities to be carried out.
There are 7 processes within the methodology.
- Starting up a project (SU).
- Directing a project (DP).
- Initiating a project (IP).
- Controlling a stage (CS).
- Managing product delivery (MP).
- Managing a stage boundary (SB).
- Closing a project (CP).
In the Project Management Procedure, you will find details on everything that need to be covered in these 7 stages and you can easily track the activities which must be carried out to manage a project smoothly.
In addition to the Project Management Procedure, we also have Project Risk Log and Project Issue Log available to improve your project management process.
This procedure can be purchased individually or as part of a package. If you are implementing a project management system, then our project management package might be more cost effective for you.
We additionally have a range of management system packages that cover a combination of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001. However, additional standards can easily be included if needed.
